It seems that American downhill skier and gold medalist had her medal taken and awarded to ... of all competitors ... the heretofore fourth place downhill skier.
The IOC has just today announced that it has taken back the gold medal previously awarded to American skier Lindsey Vonn and gave it to POTUS, Barack Obama.
Olumpic officials said Obama deserved the medal more than Vonn because no one has ever gone downhill faster than the President.
There was only a tiny mention in the liberal American news media and it was deeply buried in amongst other items. After all it reflected somewhat negatively on the Democrats ... sort of one of those left handed things ... if you get my drift. It got more play in the foreign media.
