Government Paternalism

Suggest you read The Blogosphere vs Vladimir Putin (La Russophobe) from which the following was lifted.

Russians are beginning to give up the flawed belief, grounded in decades of Soviet paternalism, that the government should solve their problems. Now, they are taking charge of their own affairs.

When will we, citizens of the USA, ever learn that we have met the enemy and it is us?

About Me

My photo
Shadow
Rural. Opted out of urban environments., Gulf South, United States
Probably know just enough to be dangerous. I try not to be judgmental. HUGE EXCEPTIONS include, but not limited to, political and public entities, plus collective bodies and unnamed individuals that I consider to be stupid, grossly ignorant, and largely clueless with regard to their environment ... political or otherwise. Therefore, they are all valid targets of the extreme subtlety of my criticism.
